ANDREW VERNON

Andrew Vernon is an Emmy award winning sound designer, composer, and re-recording mixer based in Los Angeles. Originally from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Andrew moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to attend Duquesne University for music. After a few years working in live-sound, he moved west to San Francisco to attend San Francisco Conservatory of Music for music composition. The opportunity to get a summer job at Pixar Animation Studios appeared, and he jumped at the opportunity. At Pixar, Wall-E had just wrapped and Ben Burtt was still around and started giving him some sound effects recording assignments. The spark was ignited, and sound design became an obsession. Now years later, Andrew is working in Los Angeles as a sound designer and re-recording mixer working alongside top Hollywood talent on such films as Guillermo Del Toro's Pinocchio and Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon and with long time collaborator Erick Oh on Oscar nominated short films such as Opera.
